People are at the heart of our work and our success.
We are a nationally connected organisation with our work contributing to the New Zealand-wide Predator Free 2050 movement.
We are funded by Environment Canterbury and Christchurch City Council, recognising that the benefits and outcomes of our work are regionally significant.
We enjoy positive relationships with our family of corporate sponsors and donors, many of whom have been working alongside PFBP, and the Banks Peninsula Conservation Trust, since our inception.
We have a Memorandum of Understanding with 20 conservation and community organisations, all working collectively and collaboratively to enhance and protect the region’s biodiversity.
Our work is undertaken hand-in-hand with the people of Christchurch and Canterbury. Much of the land we work on is privately owned, which means we rely on the goodwill and support of every landowner on Banks Peninsula – ensuring that we work with landowners, iwi and communities is a core part of our work.
We are grateful to our Pest Free Banks Peninsula Partners
